Grants and distributions are open to all Te Pae o Waimihia members (and their listed tamariki) who are registered on our database. Please ensure you read and understand ALL Terms and Conditions of each grant BEFORE applying. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
ONLINE APPLICATIONS
Are you a registered member? You can apply online! Log into our Members Portal and you can apply for grants online and view your status, and running balance. If you need help with this, please call our team on 07 378 5180 or email grants@tpow.co.nz!
PAPER APPLICATIONS
From 2025, all our grant applications moved to a paper-less system and can only be applied for, through the online Members Portal. The Pakeke Grant is the only exception, and paper applications for our kaumātua will still be accepted. If you have any trouble logging on, or navigating through the portal, please call He Akina on (07) 378 5180.

Te Pae o Waimihia are pleased to offer the following grants and distributions to their members:
Pakeke Medical Grant - subsidisation of medical treatments to Te Pae o Waimihia members aged 40 years and over.
Dental Grant - subsidisation of dentistry treatments for members aged 18 - 39 years.
Sporting Participation Grant - subsidisation of sporting related expenses.
Sporting Representation Grant - subsidisation of sporting related expenses for representative sports.
Education Grant - subsidisation of education expenses for tamariki of registered members in Years 0 - 10.
Tamariki Health Care Grant - subsidisation for vision and hearing treatment for tamariki of registered members aged 0-17 years.
Tangihanga Grant - available to Te Pae o Waimihia marae to support tangihanga expenses. Please call He Akina for enquiries.
Kura / Kohanga Reo Grant - available to kura and kohanga reo within Te Pae o Waimihia rohe. Please contact He Akina for more information.
Kaumātua Healthy Homes Grant - established to support Te Pae o Waimihia kaumātua by contributing towards the costs of improving the warmth of their homes. Please call He Akina on (07) 378 5180 for more information.
To be eligible to apply for a Te Pae o Waimihia grant, you must be a registered member on the Te Pae o Waimihia database. All new registrations will go through a verification process so please allow time for first time grant applications.
